My name is Johana, I’m a passionate full-time filmmaker and photographer dedicated to capturing moments, memories, and emotions. Growing up playing sports instilled in me a love for dynamic action and storytelling, which I bring to my work. In addition to sports, I thrive on documenting the behind-the-scenes action for music artists during the production of their music videos, capturing the creativity and collaboration that go into making great art.

My Story
I’m Johana Cortes, a photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, originally from Mexico. With six years of experience in the industry, I’ve carved a niche for myself by capturing dynamic moments in both sports and music.
My portfolio includes work with a range of athletes and collaborations with notable brands, such as Fabletics, including its founders and co-owner Kevin Hart. My cinematic vision has also led me to collaborate with major artists like Peso Pluma, Christian Nodal, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, and Wiz Khalifa, allowing me to blend storytelling with stunning visuals.
